I would love to see real nation building. Did you know that Sub Saharan Africa receives a quarter of a billion dollars of year in direct aid. Yet remains hopelessly poor, thinkaboot that!
It isn't rocket science. The poverty and rigged currencies on top of poor growing conditions - and lack of other natural resources - ensure significant modern military resources will remain unaffordable, as well as the infrastructure available to say, a petro state. Nation building ? Not a chance. Target practice is a more honest appraisal.
