Riding during Wartime

Now I ride my
bike forever
and wear a helmet
to keep me safe
and the cars
whiz by at amazing
speeds and I can
pump and grind
somewhat keep that
rate in a traffic jam
otherwise I am 
terrified by these
moving houses
passing me by
and why are they
killing the planet
every sunday
instead of praying
at church
