CHockey trade deadline

I love the pick up Petry.  A great skating, good sized puck mover. If the pucks not in your own end you dont have to clear the net. In the "New NHL" skating trumps smashing. As he comes from Edmonton who knows what kind of upside he really has. With the structure in Montreal he could be amazing.  More or less it was a trade for Josh Gorges.  Except Montreal retains the 31st pick overall and gives up the 60th pick. The possible 3rd pick of Montreal is filled in with the existing much higher third pick of Colorado. So basically a sure number four for a bag of pucks.
Considering the incredible prices paid for Dman in the past couple of days this was an absolute steal.

Grade A++

The Buffalo Scuttlebutt on Brian Flynn is that he is the fastest guy on the ice. At age 26 little chance he is a Dale Wiess 2.0. However a fourth line of Flynn, Wiese and Bornival will give teams fits with their speed.
For a 3rd round pick a smart play

Grade A

My prediction for is for another steal. Phil Kessel for Emilin, P.A. Parenteu, Mike McCarron and Zack Fucale. Marc Bergevin has caught the bus and has yet to have his ticket punched. Another play may be Ryan Orielly from Colorado.
