Every time I read about sub standard housing or disaster relief housing I wonder why there is not a container ship at ready about to sail in to the rescue. I hope one day to build my own Shipping Container home. Another way I would use one is as an underground garage/storage. By putting a basement and a lift under my traditional garage, there would be room to store up to two "summer cars" and/or all the seasonal stuff the crowds my traditional space.
