Another cautionary tale. I was twice to that fair land in the 1980's on vacation. At that time it was run by the Spanish Elite. Even though Caracas was even at that time considered dangerous for a Gringo, it was a very pleasant place and the poverty was not in your face. Today under Socialist control no matter whose side you are on its hard not to recognize the state is failing. However if we really believe in Democracy the Democratic nations have to stop overthrowing elections.
Trading one bad guy for another is a coup is not a way forward.
